Milan Fashion Week Update: Bottega Veneta

Bottege Veneta is a really classic brand known for its weaved leather bags, which to me are as iconic and coveted as the Hermes birkin. Designer Tomas Maier's collection for the brand's Spring 2010 menswear collection started with that signature bag, a classic baseball jacket, and khakis but evolved into the most modern vision of a stylish man on the go. The color palette in the collection was perfect. There was an aray of kinda tropical tones from pinks and orange, dark army greens, and a burnt red floral motif. I know, it sounds tragic but Tomas is a master of execution. The tie-dies were spot on; definitely not contrived or too hippy-ish. And the BAGS!!! Definitely think the men of Memphis should consider investing in a "man-bag". Don't worry about it sacrificing your man hood.(don't give a f*ck what people think anyway) But plenty of fashionable men are rockin' the bag(kanye). Anyway, the collection was absolutely, perfectly, without a doubt, HOT. To see more looks from the show go to: http://men.style.com/fashion/collections/S2010MEN/complete/thumb/BVMEN?trend=&page=1
